Rating: | xXx (triple-x) is a must see film. It is an action packed film full of
great music, amazing stunts, cool cars, good gadgets, guns, girls and guys. It
matches up with James Bond and then rides straight past.
It all begins with a man named Xander Cage (Vin Diesel). He is a rebellious extreme sports star who is about to become a new breed of secret agent. When he drove the stolen congressman’s car off a bridge, while being filmed for all his daredevil fans, he didn’t realise that parachuting out of the sports car would be the last stunt he did for a while. He was soon caught by the police during his celebrations of the new stunt success. He finds himself going through a series of tests alongside other bald-headed, loud, tattooed daredevils very much like himself. He passes with flying colours and has a huge decision to make, he faces a long stretch in prison but his only way out is to become a secret agent, the complete opposite to his former life. Xander agrees and becomes: xXx, the first of a new breed of agent. He is sent to Prague where a new gang called Anarchy 99 have killed the last undercover agent from the U.S.A. His job is to find all he can on this dangerous Russian gang headed by Yorgi. He soon discovers more than he bargained for when Yorgi’s girlfriend Yelena turns out to be a Russian secret agent. They begin to work together and their relationship goes far beyond just the mission. When Xander founds out more of the Russian’s dirty work going far deeper than what was suspected by the U.S government his mission changes as xXx now has to save the world of a dreadful fate. The film ends with a huge twist and a lot more stunts, explosions and gadgets than previously expected. It is a must see for all action movie fanatics. Even if you’re not interested by the cars, gadgets and the music you’ll definitely enjoy the way this film will make you hang off every word. Submitted by Natalie Robinson |
